Do you want to be part of the newest tour boat with the best vibes in Clearwater Beach? We are a 40 passenger Dolphin Tour Boat located in the Clearwater Beach Marina.
We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Charter Boat Mate to join our team.
As a First Mate, you will assist the captain in ensuring the safety and enjoyment of our guests while on board.
You will have the unique opportunity to interact with passengers, provide information about the local marine life, and contribute to creating memorable experiences for our guests.
Responsibilities:
Assist the captain in operating the vessel safely and efficiently Greet guests as they board the boat and provide a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
Help guests with onboarding and offboarding at Island stops.
Narrating on the mic to inform and educate passengers about the local marine environment, including dolphin behavior and conservation efforts.
Help passengers spot dolphins and other marine life and provide interesting facts and insights.
Assist passengers with any questions or concerns they may have during the tour.
Maintain cleanliness and organization on board the vessel, including cleaning up after passengers.
Assist with docking and undocking procedures.
Qualifications:
Prior experience working on boats or in a marine environment preferred.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to provide excellent customer service to passengers of all ages.
Ability to work well as part of a team and take direction from the captain.
Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions and standing for extended periods.
First aid and CPR certification preferred.
Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work weekends Paid hourly
